Objective

Galbraith is the Scotland’s largest independent property consultancy. It commissioned Allerton to position its team as the go-to expert advisers on all property and planning aspects of renewable-energy, telecoms and infrastructure.

Action

Working with the client, we developed a branded, 20-page magazine – now in its 19th edition – to support engagement with target audiences. The magazine contains high-quality content from the firm’s experts and guest contributors. An example is a high-profile debate by opposing UK and Scottish energy ministers. The magazine is distributed in UK airport business lounges, energy events and agricultural shows. A digital version is shared via social media channels, for example LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, as well as email.

Result

The campaign has resulted in huge engagement with current and prospective clients and peers and generated valuable content to support a variety of ongoing marketing initiatives. The campaign has been so successful it was selected as a best practice case study by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

The magazine has helped establish personnel as experts in key Scottish and UK national and industry publications covering target sectors, including energy and agriculture. It has also underpinned the generation of significant positive coverage in wider media, including regional radio.
