Social Media Specialist

Allerton Communications is growing. We’re seeking a resourceful Social Media Specialist to serve our low-carbon and climate-economy clients.

Located in the south of England and working remotely, with F2F meetings where suitable, and initially part-time on contract, you will take charge of corporate clients’ social pages, often on LinkedIn – planning, generating and editing content, and reporting.

Experience or ability in some of the following would be useful:

  • Linkedin, Twitter, YouTube and possibly FB
  • Content creation
  • Measurement and evaluation
  • Knowledge of, or at least interest in, the low-carbon economy, e.g. renewable energy, grid, battery storage etc
  • Corporate finance, or financial PR

Work will likely include:

  • Creating company profile image and banner
  • Writing a compelling About Us section and including relevant keywords
  • Engaging posts and video
  • Build new pages, e.g. Careers
  • Keep up to date on LinkedIn algorithm
  • Help organise virtual events
  • Social ads
  • Track and report measurement data

This would suit either an experienced PR or someone starting and exciting career.
